ATLANTA — A woman was arrested after leading officers on an interstate chase on Sunday, Atlanta police said.

Police said they were chasing Michelle Horne after a robbery in Buckhead. Another woman said Horne ambushed her at an arts festival. She said Horne pulled out a knife and demanded her to hand over her belongings.

When police tracked Horne down, she led them on a chase through several counties, police said. They said at times she was driving over 100 miles per hour. After more than 30 minutes, they eventually stopped and arrested her on Interstate 20 near Fairburn Road, police said.

Channel 2’s Tony Thomas was at the scene, where detectives were loading two Louis Vuitton bags into a police car. The bags were taken from the car Horne was driving, a Ford Taurus with Cobb County license plates.

Horne was charged with robbery. Police said they think she is responsible for another robbery on Oct. 30.

No injuries were reported.
