HOUSTON – A crossing guard is lucky to be alive after she was hit by a car on the job. A KHOU 11 News viewer sent in a video taken a short time after it happened in front of Condit Elementary in Bellaire.
Bellaire police said a man made an illegal right turn and hit the guard, throwing her up onto the hood of his car. The guard was conscious on the way to the hospital.
The driver was ticketed.
