TOWN OF LIBERTY, Wis. — A two-vehicle collision left one woman injured Sunday afternoon in the town of Liberty.
Brooke C. Meeks, 21, of Readstown, Wis., was driving north on Hwy. S at noon when she lost control of her vehicle on a turn, crossed the centerline and struck a vehicle driven by Elizabeth B. Brookhart, 27, of Ridgeway, Wis.
Meeks’ vehicle leftthe road and flipped over, leaving her with neck, back and leg injuries. She was taken to Vernon Memorial Healthcare, where she was treated and released later in the day.
Brookhart’s vehicle sustained “very minor damage” and the driver was unhurt.
The accident remains under investigation by the Vernon County Sheriff’s Department.
