KENNESAW, Ga. — A toddler was struck and killed by a car in a driveway on Saturday afternoon, police said.
The incident occurred at a home on Sahara Drive in Kennesaw just before 5 p.m., Cobb County police spokesman Joe Hernandez said.
Investigators said 30-year-old Marco Alfaro was backing out of the driveway when his 2-year-old son walked behind the car. Hernandez said the child was knocked to the ground and died at the scene.
Hernandez said charges are not expected to be filed.
