HOLLYWOOD star Rachel McAdams was involved in an accident in Los Angeles yesterday when her car collided with another vehicle.
The Notebook actress’s vehicle accidentally rear-ended another car but both drivers escaped without injury.
Rachel was photographed stepping out of her red Mini Cooper to talk to the other female driver, but there was little damage to either car.
The 33-year-old then parked her motor and continued her journey on foot.
Rachel, who is in a relationship with Michael Sheen, is back in LA after a recent stint in the UK filming scenes for her new movie About Time.

The pretty star plays a pregnant woman, alongside a cast which includes Bill Nighy and Lindsay Duncan.
The movie is the brainchild of Love Actually scribe Richard Curtis – who will write and direct the story of a man who can time travel.
Producers describe it as “a fantastical feel-good movie about a man and his ability to travel back in time” who “eventually meets the girl of his dreams”.

The film’s lead role will be played by relative unknown Domhnall Gleeson – best known for playing Bill Weasley in the Harry Potter films.
Zooey Deschanel was originally cast as love interest Mary but dropped out due to scheduling conflicts.
This will be the second time Rachel stars in a time-shift drama – as she was also cast in 2009 flick The Time Traveller’s Wife.
