SENECA, S.C. — Authorities say they suspect a Georgia man killed after a wreck on a snowy South Carolina road had been drinking before the crash.
Multiple media outlets report that 48-year-old Scott John Campbell of Toccoa, Ga., died Sunday after a heart attack on the way to a hospital. South Carolina Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Bill Rhyne says Campbell was driving his pickup truck in Oconee County at around 1:30 a.m. when he crossed the center line and hit another pickup truck head on.
