According to TMZ on Nov. 6, Lindsay Lohan will face new charges; specifically, lying to police about her car accident on the Pacific Coast Highway last June.
Lohan, 26, told police she was not driving her Porsche when it slammed into the back of an 18-wheeler. Eyewitness testimony, however, says she’s not telling the truth. As of right now, it will be a misdemeanor charge, but Lohan is currently on probation for jewelry theft.
And to top that off, prescription pills were found in her purse at the time of the accident. Lohan’s lawyer was able to prove that the pills were legally prescribed by a physician, so that charge wasn’t filed.
And just one day later, TMZ is reporting that the troubled young actress is now claiming that the cops are simply out to get her. And she’s sticking by her story that she wasn’t driving the car in the June accident.
Lindsay claims she’s been good since she made her no contest plea in the jewelry theft case. Her plan is to throw herself at the mercy of the court. “One car accident could ruin everything for me.”
Lindsay Lohan is supposedly “terrified” of going back to jail; however, it doesn’t seem she’s terrified enough to mend her ways. She has beauty and talent, but needs a heavy dose of common sense mixed into that equation.
Her next appearance is in the Lifetime TV movie “Liz & Dick,” airing on Nov. 25.
