state_police_fatal_jackson.jpgState Police are investigating a two-car accident on I-195 in Jackson earlier today that killed a Cranbury man and injured a Wall Township woman  

A Cranbury man was killed earlier today when he lost control of his car on eastbound I-195 through Jackson, crossed the center median and struck another vehicle, whose driver sustained minor injuries, State Police said this evening.

Carl Henninger, 27, was thrown from his Chevy Lumina and pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which happened shortly before 10:50 a.m., police said.

A 22-year-old Wall Township woman, driving west in her Buick Century, was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.

The State Police, which received assistance from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, is investigating.
