CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — Three people were sent to the hospital Monday morning after a four-car pileup at Greenwood and Hudson roads.

Names were not released.

Police said the accident was reported about 6:40 a.m. One vehicle was traveling northbound and crossed the median into the southbound lanes of traffic. The northbound vehicle hit a southbound car, which pushed that car into another southbound car. The northbound car then hit a second southbound car head on.

Three drivers were transported to the hospital, with non-life threatening injuries. A fourth driver was not transported.
