GAINESVILLE – Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in the East Hall area last night.

The accident happened about 9:30 on Gaines Mill Road about a mile off the Athens Highway.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office says it occurred when the driver of a car over-corrected after running off the side of the road. The car then began skidding sideways and was struck by an oncoming pick-up.

All of the injured were in the car. One was airlifted to Grady Hospital in Atlanta; the others were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
