MARIETTA, GA. — Cobb County authorities are investigating the cause of a wreck that left one person dead.
Cobb County police spokesman Officer Joe Hernandez says the Monday afternoon crash was on Veterans Memorial Highway in the Atlanta suburbs. He said a car and a tractor-trailer collided, killing the driver of the vehicle.
All lanes of the highway are closed in the area while workers clear the wreck.
Hernandez had no details on the condition of the driver of the tractor-trailer. The names of the drivers have not yet been released.
